Get Involved

SHARE YOUR STORY. CHANGE THE NARRATIVE
All-American Story is calling for submissions from immigrants and first- and second-generation Americans who are ready to be heard.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Your story matters—whether you’re a writer, poet, essayist, visual artist, musician, or someone who’s never shared your story publicly. We want your truth in whatever form feels authentic to you: essays, poetry, interviews, songs, paintings, collages, photography, or something we have not even imagined.
Writers and artists from impacted and marginalized communities: Your voices are essential to this project.
But you don’t need credentials or a platform. You don’t need to call yourself a writer or an artist. If you have a story about immigration—yours or your family’s—we want to hear it.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Our nation’s immigration story is being drowned out by noise and distortion. All-American Story exists to flood the country with truth—the complexity and courage, the dreams and struggles, the beauty and heartbreak of real immigrant experiences. We’re building an archive of authenticity that will reach audiences everywhere: online (Substack, TikTok, Instagram, All-AmericanStory.com) and in physical spaces (theaters, museums, bookstores, galleries, restaurants, and community centers).
