Share Your Story

SHARE YOUR STORY. CHANGE THE NARRATIVE

All-American Story is calling for submissions
from American immigrants
and first- and second-generation Americans
who are ready to be heard.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Your story matters. Whether you’re a writer, poet, playwright, essayist, photographer, storyteller, visual artist, songwriter, dancer, musician, sculptor, or someone who’s never even considered the fact that you HAVE a story, we invite you to reach out. We seek TRUE STORIES in myriad forms—whatever feels most authentic to you!

Writers and artists from impacted and marginalized communities: Your voices are essential to this project.

YOU DO NOT NEED CREDENTIALS OR A PLATFORM. If you have something to say about immigration—yours or your family’s—we want to hear it.

WHY THIS MATTERS

True stories of who American immigrants too often are drowned out by noise and distortion, lies and demonization. All-American Story exists to flood the country with truth. We’re building an archive of authenticity to reach audiences everywhere, in many ways,  stories and plays, as well as dance and MUSIC, as in Anita Hollander’s Share the World, ART as in Maria Rosa’s The Purple Dress… and more

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A platform that honors your story (in any form) on your terms
  • Editorial support that respects your vision and your voice
  • The option to remain anonymous or use a pen name
  • Help developing and crafting your story (again, in any form you prefer)
